Rewarding Experiences | Part 1

Our aim is to create, plan and deliver events which thrill and inspire. The best reward is when the outcome is equally inspiring for our team.

At two recent events delivered in Athens, we elevated the experience beyond all expectations by incorporating support for the vulnerable in our local community.

The first was a corporate event for an EMEA audience, in the heart of Athens. Each day was packed with business sessions, but the event culminated in two unusual, local Greek experiences.

We created an activity where delegates experienced the hustle and bustle of an Athenian neighborhood farmers’ market. By using their newly acquired Greek language skills, they procured a selection of fresh produce marked in Greek on their shopping lists. Guests were blown away by the enthusiastic reception they received from the stall holders, and we loved the emotional high and sense of achievement the activity generated in all who participated. At the end, delegates felt that this had been one of the best CSR activities they had ever participated in!

The goods were donated to a local soup kitchen, tasked with feeding over 200 people a day. The soup kitchen team were overwhelmed by the generosity & humanity of this gesture.

On the final evening, delegates were delighted to find vintage 1950s buses waiting to whisk them to dinner. These beautiful buses were manufactured in Greece and used in the public transport system up to the early 1980s. White-gloved waiters offered a chilled glass of bubbly during the drive through the historic centre to a private dinner venue with stunning Acropolis views.

We thoroughly enjoyed delivering this memorable event and were rewarded with amazing feedback from all who participated.

Athens is a deeply diverse, exciting, and inclusive destination, suitable for many different types of events.
